Rebecca is a registered Psychologist and Associate member of the Australian Psychological Society.
As a psychologist, Rebecca has worked in a variety of community based counselling clinics and private practice. She provides psychological interventions, assessment, general counselling and support group facilitation. She can also provide education and support for local schools regarding young people and body image, self-esteem and substance use.
Rebecca has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, parents and families and will consult with individuals or families as required.
Her specific areas of interest include assisting individuals with depression, anxiety, body image and self-esteem issues, eating disorders, substance abuse and addictions, behavioural issues, relationship issues and stress management.
Rebecca also has completed her training with the Australian Society of Hypnosis and sees people wanting to use hypnosis for a variety of problems, particularly habit and anxiety disorders. In addition she has training in couples and relationship counselling, substance abuse issues and specialises in working with sufferers of eating disorders.
